We’ve just released a powerful new feature in FreeBetRange — Import Hands.

Now you can upload your hand history and automatically build a preflop strategy tree based on your real play. Instead of studying only theory, you can finally see how you actually play — spot leaks, compare decisions, and improve faster.

Why this feature matters

Most players study GTO ranges or predefined charts. GTO ranges are just the foundation —  real improvement comes when you combine them with analysis of your own play.

With Import Hands you can:

  • upload your hand history in a .zip file
  • automatically parse millions of hands
  • visualize your actual preflop decisions as ranges
  • analyze your strategy inside the same ecosystem you already use for training

The system builds a full tree from your uploaded hands, letting you explore your real preflop game spot by spot.

Fast processing

The importer is built for scale:

  • ~1 million hands processed in about 10 minutes
  • supports archives up to 200 MB
  • works with hand histories exported from trackers like Hand2Note or directly from poker rooms

Upload → wait → refresh — and your strategy tree is ready.

Real ranges when enough data exists

When your sample size is big enough, Freebetrange reconstructs your actual ranges for each spot.

If a situation has too few hands, the app still shows a hand frequency matrix, so you can understand what you’ve played even when a full range can’t be built yet.

Analyze anywhere in the app

Once imported, your strategy can be explored across the entire ecosystem:

  • Viewer — for visual analysis
  • Trainer — for targeted practice
  • Editor — for adjustments and improvements

This turns your own hand history into a complete training workflow.

Experimental — and evolving

Import Hands is currently an experimental feature available on the Elite plan, and we’ll continue improving it based on feedback.

If you’ve ever wanted to answer questions like:

  • “What do I actually open here?”
  • “How different is my play from GTO?”
  • “Where do my leaks begin preflop?”

— this feature was built for you.

Tip: Use the GTO Library, Multi-Range Viewer, and Import Hands to see the differences between theory and your real decisions — spot leaks faster and fix them with confidence.
